"We had really good times on the Korode farm..."

"We had really good times on the Korode farm - there were wiener roasts, fried chicken, and fresh produce courtesy of the Korodes - how about that fresh corn, and berries, berries, berries. Then there were hayrides, horseshoe contests, softball, badminton. Can't forget the ole swimming hole and the fishing and the target practice at the "shooting range." And how about the upper level of the barn - remember swinging from one giant hay pile to another using the big chain which hung from the ceiling of the hayloft in the barn? Usually in the latter part of the day there was accordion music under the ole Ohio Buckeyes (weren't those trees humongous!!!). Best of all - the "family" - we are so blessed to have had such a rich heritage. I'm so glad we are getting together again! Time flies by quickly but memories always linger!" Helen Fatur Cool
